Starting Today: Ultimate Guide to Repeats
With more and more agents and studios requiring repeats, it’s become increasingly important to learn how to create higher quality repeats in less time.
In the Ultimate Guide To Repeats Group Study you’ll have access to a toolbox of techniques that you can use to create more interesting, professional repeats that agents, studios and clients are looking for in today’s market.
Emails are sent every Monday and Thursday, giving you three days to watch the video and complete the exercises. This group-study is designed to keep you motivated and feeling supported as you master repeats!
This event is FREE for all Textile Design Lab members and the first email will be released on Monday, November 9th. Members can register here.
Upcoming Event: Goals Check-in
On Tuesday, Nov 10th at 1pm Eastern we will have our goals check-in for the month of November and you are invited!. There will not be a presentation during this time. Instead it is an opportunity to come together and see how everyone is doing with their one big goal for the year.
If you need help getting started with goal setting please check out this workshop that we held in August.
Have you taken part in our Friday Coloring Hour? During these weekly video calls you can bring your own project to work on, or print out and use one of our coloring pages. Chelsea is the one who creates these coloring pages, and has a lot of fun making them! We had a request for a tutorial on how she creates these pages, and you will learn how in this new video!
New Chelsea’s Challenge: Kid Craft
This month we are going to be focusing on designing for kids. You can choose to focus on kids’ apparel, home decor, paper goods or quilting fabric intended for children, or whatever products most excite you to create for young ones. This is a great opportunity to bring any kids in your life in on a design project, or just to bring out your inner kid and allow them to play! My goal for this challenge is for it to be fun fun FUN and for you to be able to create freely and without judgment. “Naive” designs are all the rage right now and if you are someone who spends a lot of time getting a design perfect I invite you to explore a more carefree aesthetic this month that is allowed to look a little unpolished and off-kilter! Get loose! Get messy!
